New Chop on the Time Tree

I realize that our celebration toasts mostly reflect the desired, not the reality.

I realize that we raise our goblets to our dreams, but… ‘time breaks the threaded dances and the diver’s brilliant bow’.

So, to be frank, I am raising the goblet to reality and our full connection to it.

There is not a single culture in the world without ‘season change’ rituals.

Humans physically and mentally need such renovation and renaissance.

So, let me raise the second toast.

To all quarrels and problems remaining in the previous years.

Save the New Year to new ones.

P.S. I still can’t believe that my dearest creature is now sweetly dozing several feet apart from the desk where I am writing this.

Find your happiness, too. I have since so long been waiting.

‘If you can wait, and not be tired by waiting…’
