The book “Architecture Inspired By Space: Image of Future in Late-Soviet Architecture” is written by Vladimir Ivanov and inspired by the French photographer Frédéric Chaubin who, as the author claims, was the first to have pointed out the incredible otherness of Soviet modernism which was long thought to be only a dull copy of its Western counterpart.

The book contains wonderful photos and descriptions of fantastic buildings scattered across the former Soviet Union.
