Lermontov gallery was built and inaugurated in 1901, exactly 60 years after Lermontov was shot here in Pyatigorsk.
The most interesting thing about the gallery is that it was only assembled here on the spot but its parts were produced partly in Saint Petersburg and partly in Warsaw.
