Levinarium, No.

If you watch Muzzy’s adventures somewhat abstractly, without thinking of this cartoon as of “English as a second language for little kids”, you’ll find out all of a sudden that this BBC‘s project goes far beyond its didactic goals.

The two seasons, both directed by Richard Taylor(“Muzzy in Gondoland”, 1986; and “Muzzy Comes Back”, 1989) are brilliant as far as it concerns artistry and plot: fascinating adventures, well thought-out and sketched characters, amazing voices.

Corvax, despite being evil, is fun and is very often the most loved by the viewers.

Linguistic and everyday situations are incorporated in a very unobtrusive way, so that one never even notices that one of the episodes, for example, deals with phone etiquette, unless one reads special commentaries.

Original title (English): Muzzy in Gondoland, Muzzy Comes Back
