My favorite Medieval song: so frivolous and so up-to-date as to its melody and topic.

In taberna quando sumus,
non curamus, quid sit humus,
sed ad ludum properamus,
cui semper insudamus.

(When we are in a tavern, we never mind what death (lit.: earth) is, but we make a beeline to the games to which we always yield.)

Zoltán Arany from Hungary interpreted the text and the melody as close to the original as it is only possible (judging from what we see in the score).
