Kladno is famous for the proclamation of the Soviet republic in 1918, but the present-day town is mostly about industrial zones.
There are only three or four buildings of importance downtown, still two “classical” railway stations remain untouched off-center and help one feel the spirit of the railway romanticism when train journeys were not so routine.
