A new discovery of mine: American punk-art-rock group who, unfortunately, gained only very restricted recognition, Television (1970s).
They are credited for inspiring the new wave and the style now known as art-punk.
They are characterized by “duelling guitars” passages of the two main participants, complexity of texts and melodies.
