Well, Borisov (Барысаў) is 1.5 h by a slow cross-country train to the East of Minsk, but the two following sites are worth the effort to undertake the trip.
Šuchov Hyperboloid Water Tower, 1927: constructivism and engineering experiment; now stands abandoned amid small private houses; although only two Šuchov towers remain in Belarus, there is still heated debate whether to keep this one or not
