Levinarium, No.

Just tell me what’s wrong with me.

Have only recently discovered that “The Bremen Town Musicians” (1969 and 1974, 20 mins each; Soviet musical animation miniseries) has the third part by the same authors (2000).

I watched and listened to it several times finding it decent and quite interesting, forming altogether a trilogy or even a 90-min musical.

The third part transformed into a political satire, where Yeltsin and Putin are quite clearly understood behind the King and the Ataman Queen respectively.

Most professional reviews and viewers’ reactions see it in negative light. Can’t understand what I misunderstand. And why everyone keeps comparing instead of seeing it as a continuation of the story.

English title: Bremen Town Musicians (1969, 1974, 2000)
Original title (Russian): Бременские музыканты (1969, 1974, 2000)
