Klaus Schulze (b. 1947 in Berlin) is now considered one of the classics and standards of the electronic music. He pioneered in introducing synthesized sounds and ambient style in 1972 and still keeps recording albums, having over 50 of them now, two of which are included on the influential list of the most important ambient music albums of all times.

He is one of the founders of the Berlin School of Electronic Music (Berliner Schule für die Elektronische Musik) and was a long-term member of one of the most legendary electronic music bands of all times, “Tangerine Dream”.
