Žicharevo is the railway station near the village of Nazija and is built in the classical style (late 19th century). Despite heaviest battles here during the Second World War, the building survived and bears a commemorative plaque on it. According to it, in 1941-1943, this very station was Leningrad’s evacuation and managing center.

Curious fact: to get to the village of Nazija one needs not Nazija, but Žicharevo station. The station bearing the name of Nazija is for some inexplicable reason located a mile or two away from the village itself.

Address: Russia, Leningradskaja oblastj, Nazija (Žicharevo railway station)
