Shooting the Silent Film

Is it possible to make a b/w silent film — albeit 40 seconds — when you have no studio (but your own modest workplace), no professional equipment (but a mobile phone), no special education (but some inner aesthetic understanding of how things are usually done)?

Filming the invitation to Tim’s lecture turned into the whole creative and post-production process when my simple idea was elaborated and screened by Kim and Tim.

I was in the backstage documenting the whole filming process. I guess this is kind of a benchmark for Kim who is on his way of understanding that somehow he has THE feeling, how image on screen is created and organized…
